Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone! I'm sitting at my Mom's computer in windy Weaverville, NC. We drove up yesterday to spend the holidays with the fam here. We'll be heading back on Tuesday or Wednesday, hopefully after lots of good food (we've already gotten a start on that), lots of presents, lots of fun, and maybe some snowboarding (we'll have to see if the weather conditions are good enough).

It's nice to be back in the place where I grew up - it makes me feel strangely at peace. It's as if it reminds me that there is more to my life than my current state. Seeing family and familiar places tells me that everything is going work out, no matter what. Which is a nice feeling.

Also they have banana pudding up here. :-D

Alright, this connection is a bit slow so it's time to log off and eat some cookies.
